The Classic Portfolio is a collection of pictures by members of the Visual Journalism Group. It has been made into an audiovisual presentation and has been seen by many hundreds of people in clubs, colleges, and regional meetings in various parts of the country.

Politicians either try to avoid the press or are avidly trying to court them. What they are doing or saying usually makes news. Often pictures are used as small single column 'mug shots' to break up the grey matter, but frequently a good picture is needed to enhance the impact of the story.
